So this is what it's all about!
So Darin and Chase have tried to explain to me for years now what steelhead fishing is all about. I have been perfectly content just hearing their stories rather than experiencing first hand but... Chase and Darin insisted that I go to see what it's all about. Wake up at 4:00 in the morning, are you kidding me! Drive 5 hours to the middle of nowhere Idaho... say again?! Doughnuts and Doritos for lunch...gross! But hey, the smile on Chase's face was priceless and worth all of the nasty smells, burps, and snot rockets I witnessed but according to Chase - "this is what the boys do on fishing trips Mom, relax!"
