We are alive!!!

So, it has been exactly 14 months since my last post - that HAS to be some sort of record - no? Who posts only once a year - I guess me! Life continues to get busier and I am struggling to find a way to make it slow down! How am I doing at that ...um, not so good! The girls are taking flute lessons now and Chase is back to baseball 4 times a week. Yikes! Madi will be a senior next year so need I say more! Darin is still very busy with work and well me - I am just the crazy lady trying to keep it all together! Key word - trying!

Madi came up for prom - what a memory! She looked absolutely gorgeous! Darin did not say much due to a quivering voice - he will never admit it but he is struggling with the fact that Madi is growing up!

Chase is a typical brother in a house full of girls! He deals very well with emotions that run high. However, tables were turned the other day when his snake bit the dust. I must admit, I was feeling completely opposite emotions! WAHOO! One down, one more to go! Never again will I be caught in such a weak stupor - what was I thinking when I said yes to a pet snake! Stay tuned for some killer baseball pics - I am quite positive that Sluggers #11 will be walking with swagger! Chase playing baseball - definitely one of my most favorite things!

Libs has mastered her one-handed cartwheel and practices her flute non-stop. Mix that with what we hope is some natural, raw talent and who knows, we may have a protegee on our hands! Darin and I have come to the conclusion that she may look like Darin - but she has a personality just like her mama! Oh no - poor thing!

Ohhhhhh Rainey....just typing her name makes me tired! She is such a handful and is honestly - hands down, the happiest person in the world! Darin and I are constantly trying to figure out what makes our peanut tick - she is definitely the caboose that gets away with just about everything but how could you say no to that face! I think we finally got her straight that the Easter Bunny and Santa have nothing in common and that 'wanch' can be consumed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

And me - oh yeah, I got a new camera! Look out Elwood, a new paparazzi is in town! Oh, how I wish I had the time to take a photo class. In the meantime, I will just keep snapping at everything that I walk by! :)

  1. Cute family! So one of my little boys is always telling me that, "My friend is Rainy." "I am going to sit by Rainy today." My snotty little Em says, "I asked her and she is not his friend." Gotta love kids!
